WINTER BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Sharp Park is a great place to have a birthday party.  Winter parties are centered around sliding down Cobble Hill, weather permitting.  We have a fleet of 43 snow tubes available for birthday celebrations.  We can accommodate up to 30 people in our brand new barn for cake and hot chocolate, the party celebration and exchange of gifts after the sliding is done.  Our barn is heated with bathroom facilities, hot and cold drinks and snacks available.

Helmets are required for anyone sliding.  Bring your own or we will provide helmets free of charge.

You bring the birthday cake; we will provide complementary hot chocolate and a flying toy as a party favor (suitable for children 7 and older).  Each party celebrant is provided with a snow tube.  All sliding is at your own risk and must be supervised by parents.

In the event of warm weather or rain making sliding on Cobble Hill impossible, the party can be cancelled or you can choose to have the birthday celebration in our barn and we will consult about indoor activities, which might include flying radio controlled helicopters or riding Segways indoors.

                                                SUMMER BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Summer birthday parties can include a wide range of activities from simply hiking Cobble Hill to take in the breathtaking views in all directions to a workout on our Orbitron to Segway tours over logging trails throughout our 101 acre preserve.  We can accommodate larger groups in the summer and provide pizza, drinks and snacks if you desire.

Summer birthday activities appropriate for the age group involved can be arranged in advance, including treasure hunts, hide and seek, tag, capture the flag and a wide range of flying toys including kites, helicopter toys and radio controlled helicopters and gliders.  The Orbitron can be operated by children 7 and older.  Segways require at least 100 pounds of weight and an appropriate level of maturity.

You supply the birthday cake and drinks.  We will supply paper plates, cups and eating utensils together with a flying helicopter toy as a party favor (suitable for children 7 and older).

Call ahead to arrange the specifics of your birthday party celebration.  We aim to accommodate all reasonable requests and provide a fun entertaining birthday experience.

Includes the use of up to 4 Segways for two hours, training and tours of our property as time permits.

                                                WIN A FREE BIRTHDAY PARTY

As part of our 2011 promotional activities we will be giving away a birthday party at Sharp Park to one of the first 50 people to sign up on our Birthday Party list (in our new barn).

The Birthday Party includes free pizza, birthday cake, ice cream and activities for up to 15 Birthday Party celebrants for up to 2 ½ hours.

We offer a wide range of possible birthday activities at Sharp Park from hiking to Segway excursions, with snow tubes, skiing, boarding, snowshoeing and sliding in the winter time.  We can also arrange age appropriate birthday games (indoor and outdoor) or you can tailor your birthday celebration as you desire.  We hope to add zip lines to our offerings in 2011.  (But we can’t promise that yet.)

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Fill in your name, birth date, address, phone # and email address on our Sharp Park Birthday List in our new barn.  We will randomly select one person from the list out of the first 50 to sign up and contact them to make plans for their birthday party celebration at Sharp Park.  (On or near the birthday provided).

We will use this birthday list to send out special promotions for birthday celebrations at Sharp Park about a month in advance of the birth date listed.  The earliest people on the list will be offered the best discounts in the future.*

Birthday celebrations at Sharp Park are perhaps best suited for school age children (7 to 18), but adults can sign up as well and we will put on parties for younger children with their parents’ assistance.

You must weigh at least 100 pounds to operate a Segway.  Helmets are required during use of Segways, mountain bikes and all sliding activities.  You may bring your own helmet or we will supply them free of charge.
